Cloud Storage Checklist: What to Compare Before Uploading Everything
Cloud storage is more than a folder that syncs. It can become your backup system, collaboration hub, photo archive, and document library. Choosing casually can create problems later, especially if you run out of space, lose access, or accidentally share private files.
Storage size is only one factor
Plan size matters, but so do upload speed, file history, sharing permissions, device support, and recovery tools. A cheaper plan may be frustrating if it lacks version history or makes it difficult to recover deleted files.
Understand sync versus backup
Sync means changes on one device may appear everywhere, including deletions. Backup means a separate copy is preserved for recovery. Sharing controls
